Planting the garden

Monday on my way home from work I stopped off at the local nursery and bought a few flowers that I thought would help dress up our front garden. When I got home Marcos was planting the vegetable garden. I am not too sure what is all there. I know we have 2 kinds of corn, 3 kinds of Lettuce, 2 kinds of beans. carrots, tomatoes, onions and even garlic. So you know what that means ...yummy salsa!! Last year we planted one but when Marcos left the end of July the garden wasn't my top priority. So we hope to be able to enjoy it this year!!

Front Garden

Trip to Mississippi

On Monday we went to Mississippi for a short trip to visit Marcos' Cousin and his wife. We got in about 2 p.m. and then they took us to a park were we had a BBQ. Afer the plane ride the kids loved the chance to run and play!

Kenadie was loving the baby wanting to kiss him and when he cried she would rub his head and say baby baby!

Kenadie was tring to be miss mother and feed Dylan bread like he was the baby! He is only 4 months yonger than her.

Marcos' Trip to Honduras

Marcos took our camera to Honduras during his military mission that lasted 3 weeks. His main job was to drive people around and translate for them. He meet alot of great people and he came home very grateful for all that we have. In the pictures you will see a bed that looks to me like a message table but Marcos said the OBGYN use it to deliver babies. And there is a chair that to me looks like a class room chair. Marcos told me that the dentists used that to do dental work. Not sure how but i guess you do what you have to. He had alot of fun but we are very happy to have him home!

Surgury Day!!

In December when we took Kenadie into the ENT doctor to talk to them about having tubes in her ears. While we were there I had them look at Yasmin because she snores so loud and sometimes she wakes up at night. They determined that her adenoids were size 4 which the scale they use is 1-4. 4 being the largest. So yesterday we went into Riverwoods surgical center and Yasmin had her adenoids removed and had her tongue clipped so she can speak better. We had to stay almost the whole afternoon because when they clipped her tongue they had to cut a vein. They wanted the bleeding to stop before we left. It was sorta funny the things Yasmin was saying as she came out of the Anastasia.

A week of Firsts

While we were in Orlando Kenadie has a forward facing car seat and loved it. Coming back home to the infant car seat has been so hard for her. She can't stretch out her legs so every time we go somewhere she ends up getting mad and screams the whole way. SO the other day I just told Marcos to put the other car seat in so she can be happier. On Thursday when we left the house she was so happy. I am sure she doesn't weigh 20 lbs yet but I think she is close enough! Right??

First hair cut!!! I took Yasmin in and before we left I asked Marcos if he thought Kenadie would let them cut her hair. He gave this look like be serious. So I took a sucker for the bribe. Marcos took Kenadie while Yasmin got her hair cut. When he came it was just in time for Kenadie's turn. As he handed me Kenadie he said "If she cries I am coming to get her." She cried until I gave her the sucker. I would say It went better than Yasmin's first hair cut!

The rest of our disney Vacation

I know that I have been so slow putting the rest of our Disney Pics on Here. The last 2 days of our trip Kenadie got some Flu bug and on Saturday It seemed that she felt better but still wouldn't Eat. Sunday Morning I thought she would be all better but It was like it started all over again. But this time she acted like she was in apin. So we took her up to Primary Childrens and they told us she has Hernia. I wasn't too surprised but they said her having the flu bug was making it sore. Then I got sick just as Kenadie was getting better. Then Friday night Saturday morning Yasmin was saying how here ear hurt. I wasn't sure if she felt left out with Kenadie being sick and me tring to take care of her. So I took her to Insta -care just in case and sure enough a double ear infection! So we are glad that week is over! Hope you enjoyed the pics! We had so much I want to go back!

Day #3 of our Magical Disney Vaction

Today we has so much fun in Animal Kingdom! But there was a ton of people! After lunch and our afternoon nap we went in to Magic Kingdom and we were able to go on more rides that way. We also got to see the best firework show I have ever seen in Magic Kingdom! It was like they show in the movies. Yasmin loved it Kenadie hated the noise!
