Yasmin"s & Kenadie's Birthdays

July is always a fun time for our family but a busy one too! Since the girls birthday's are a week apart we always try to do something big for them both. With Marcos being gone and being pregnant I just didn't have the energy to throw a huge party! So I tooth the girls to Chuk E Cheese for their birthdays and then they both got a free build a bear coupon in the mail so I took them their to make a bear. Grandma and Grandpa also took them out to lunch. I was hoping that doing lots of fun little activities would help take their mind off not having a huge birthday party...WRONG! Since Yasmin's birthday she has cried because she just wanted a party! So next week we are going with some friends to Pirate Island in Orem. I have hear it's fun and cheaper then chuck E cheese.  I then Pray that the storm will calm!!!/

Marcos' last day! / Ultima dia!!

Ok so it took Marcos forever to send me the airport pictures because they went out in the field for a week but here they are. His last day he wanted to go to Tucanos for a late lunch so went as our last family activity. Then he had to report at 7:00 pm at the Air National Guard airport next to the SLC airport.  His flight didn't leave that night till almost 12:00 am. It was so hard on the kids and Kenadie couldn't understand why she couldn't get on the airplane with daddy. We had lots of tears as you can imagine and Yasmin had a very hard time saying goodbye. But I am sure it will be even harder when we leave him in Washington after  our 3 day visit with.

15 Weeks!!!

On Saturday I went to the fetal photo studio in the south town mall with my parents. Before we went in I called Marcos and asked him what he thought the baby was. He told me he was not really sure but he would be very surprised if it was a boy. As we went in the man that does the ultrasounds (for those who haven't been) he was an O.B. in Lithuanian and of course can't practice here so this is his company. So as we went back he said "let see if we can find a boy." As we started the ultrasound she had her legs crossed and we couldn't get her to open them. My mom then said "It's got to be a girl then"   As I moved around so we could get a good look, sure enough it's another girl.  At first I think I was in Shock then I remembered that last year when we started trying for baby number 3 I felt that if it was a another girl that would be perfect for Kenadie. After talking with other mom's that have girls with Turner Syndrome they have said that for some girls the teenage years can be the hardest. When other girls body's are changing and theirs aren't  it can be difficult. And Kenadie and Yasmin have become such great friends I pray that this little one will fit right in!
