Thanks Giving Point playdate

On Wednesday we got together with Emily and Emily to have a little play date. We went to Thanks Giving Point and had dinner and let the kids play in the water. It was so fun to see you girls again and catch up on life. We will have to do it again for sure! In the meantime I am still trying to explain to Yasmin why you both are named Emily!

Silly Pics

Ok so I haven't been very picture happy lately with Marcos gone we have just been getting by. But on Sunday he called and asked me I had taken pictures of the girls to send to him. So this week we took the girls to the mall and did a little school shopping. I know Yasmin is only going to pre-school this year but what girl doesn't need an excuse to get new clothes? So we did a girls day out as Yasmin calls it and went to southtowne mall. Then we stopped off at my parents house. Kenadie has finally decided that grandpa's beard isn't so scary after all. And Kenadie's picture of her eating eggs was so cute so I just had to add that on as well!

Young Women's reunion

Last week Dolly called me and wanted to put together a little get together with the young women of our old ward. So Saturday we met a park and chatted while our kids played in the water. It was so fun to catch up on old times and see everyones kids. And for those who missed out we are talking about doing another one maybe next year. Thanks Dolly it was so fun!

Happy 4th Birthday Yasmin

I Can't believe that Yasmin is already 4 years old. But I am so excited for this year. Don't get me wrong I loved age 3, I think I am going to love age 4 even more. And Yasmin starts preschool this year which she is so excited about. She is practicing writing the alphabet and is very excited about reading. For her birthday this year we wanted to do something fun since last year we did nothing because we has a week old baby in the house. (not that we planned that.) So we took her and a few friends to Kangaroo Zoo. If you have never been it's a great place to take the kids and you can relax a little. Then we had hot dogs and hamburgers at home and did the cake thing all over again.
Yasmin cumplio 4 anos hoy. No podemos creer que rapido que paso el tiempo. Hoy fuimos con algunos amigos de Yasmin a un lugar donde tienen muchos Trampolines. Y se pasaron muy bien. Despues venimos a casa y Marcos se cocino hamburgesas.

Kenadie Update

Yesterday we had an appointment at Primary Children's to talk to Kenadie's doctor about the hormones she will need to help make her grow taller. To our surprise the doctor suggested that we should get started right away on the hormone injections. With Marcos joining the Military our insurance will be changing the day he leaves. They need to call the insurance and pre-approve her medicine with the insurance company due to the cost of it. So as soon as they get that back from the insurance we will start the growth hormone injections. One shot every day for the next 19 years......poor thing I felt so bad for her that I cried in the car after we left. But I guess we should be thankful for modern medicine and that she can be 5 feet tall one day and not 4 feet 5. I told Marcos that she is just going to learn to love needles because at the age of 8 or 9 she starts with the estrogen shots and that she will have to do until she turns 40 or so .
