week 8

On Wednesday we went back to the doctor to do another ultrasound! This time we were able to hear the heart beat and to see the babies little heart beating. The heart rate is now up to 124 bpm. The ultrasound tech seemed very relived that she found a heart beat. In-fact she asked me if I have had any bleeding or and cramping. When I said no she seemed surprised but even more surprised to see the heart beating! She then told us that they thought that we were going to loose the baby a few days after the last ultrasound. She said the baby was noticeably bigger but but still on the small side for being 7 1/2 weeks. But we do have smaller babies so we will just see how it measures at the 20 week ultrasound!  I feel so much better now that we heard the heart beat and we could see it on the ultrasound. It is hard to believe you have a little life in you growing until you see them move and see that little heart beat! We are not out of the woods yet but with every week things get better and better!
